Sunniva Ferri

Sunniva is a communications strategist and project manager working at the intersection of sports, social impact, and sustainable innovation. She supports NGOs, companies, and athletes in telling their stories with clarity and purpose - developing strategic communications, building meaningful cross-sector alliances, and driving visibility for ideas.

Her journey as a former Bundesliga basketball player and youth national team member has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in women’s sports. She specialized in sustainability and social innovation, completing a business degree with a focus on intercultural communication (University of Waterloo, Canada) and a Master’s in Sustainable and Social Entrepreneurship (University of Groningen, M.Sc. Sustainable Entrepreneurship).

As the manager of elite WNBA players Satou Sabally and Nyara Sabally, she develops profiles, strengthens their public presence, and advocates for the growth of women’s basketball in Germany.

Today, her work bridges two worlds: she elevates women’s sports through authentic positioning, holistic visibility strategies, and strategic athlete management, while designing narratives and campaigns that advance sustainability, equity, and social justice across sectors.
